I love gopeds except for the fact that they do not come with clutches. I had a BF but that twist lever is a sorry excuse for an attepmt to be a clutch and that's why I sold the damn thing. The liquimatic is the only goped model that has a real clutch well it's a Torque converter but it serves the same purpose as a clutch, the only thing about the torque converter is that IT CAN'T BE USED WITH AFTERMARKET SPINDLES, which mean you will have to use the stock goped sand stick that eats tires quickly.I heard many bad things about the liquimatic torque converter and many good things about it too. I'm very confused about it. come some shed some light on it PLEASE? I heard a LONG time ago the Rich for Scooter Pros was designing a race clutch for solid tire gopeds but it was never released. Till this day I'm waiting for an aftermarket manufacturer to make a cluthc for gopeds but sadly it hasn't been done. I don't know why though, because all the pedders I talk to WISH there peds had a good clutch that won't take too low end away and that will be easy to maintain. I think it will be a good idea for ADA or PSI to make a clutch or toque converter that will be able to use aftermarket spindles for our slid tire Go-Peds.
