  • Question for ADA....

Is ADA ever gonna make a slip joint type of exhaust for the Bladez models? All your other performance exhausts are of a slip joint type, why not the Bladez? I personally, have had the pipe break at the flange and had the mounting bracket crack due to, what I think, is the rigidity of the mounts. The pipe mounts don't give at all, going over little bumps in the road or up a driveway! Maybe something to think about??????

          Ya, I saw that Jim.

I made something like that for my scoot BEFORE the rear axle ("Z" shaped) bracket cracked in two!!!!!

          OF COURSE, IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!!!

We have a new pipe coming for the BladeZ?, that's why we've been out of stock. Completely different mounting, plus no more bracket on the axle. And, now that our pipe designer picked up our dyno from us, he is also going to see if he can find more power out of the pipe. But, that will not be for a few months. For now, it will be the same pipe with different mounting. We should have them by the end of July, maybe.

              Thats great news Brooks!

It is the preferred pipe in my area, and many guys will be happy to know you revised the rigid mount.

                Thank you sir!!!!!

Keep us posted on when you get them in stock please!!!!

I don't suppose people who have bought the original design pipe and have had problems with it are going to receive a discount on the new one, or maybe a trade in program?????

I'm sure we can work something out when the new pipe becomes available. Maybe we will offer some type of trade-in. I will have to think about it and figure out the best way to do it. And, if anyone has an old pipe that breaks under the terms of our warranty, they will obviously get it replaced with a new style pipe.

Thats good to hear Brooks. Is the end of this month still the projected release for the new design? Cause I'll tell you, I'm hatin life running the stock box exhaust.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

We just received the pipes in yesterday and they are being delivered to the chrome plater this morning. It's all up to the plater now. They have had a bunch of Series 2 pipes for over 3 weeks now. So, unless I can light a fire under their butts, who knows. Plus, I have GSR pipes coming to me, so the plater really needs to get to the chroming!

As stated earlier in this thread, if an old pipe breaks under warranty, then it will be replaced by the new one. The pipe just needs to be returned to whom it was bought from.

Too late, all of our pipes were delivered to the chrome plater on Tuesday. The BladeZ? pipe we do not offer in raw finish, as we do not stock a lot of them and they all go to the plater when they come in.

Not yet, as they are all at the the chrome shop. But, as soon as I get them back, a new pic will be up on the website.

                              Check your Cranshaft

If you are cracking pipes that easily, you might want to be sure that your crankshaft is not out of tolerance {"trueness"} causing excessive vibration.
