iight thanx slim. ill try the carn settings gave me when i get my ped back from the shop becuz my HE23HP hept bogging out a FULL THROTTLE. it will be at full throttle and then it will be bogging out. what should i do if its bogging out a full throttle? and how fast do u think my ped will go with an HE23hp, enginetrix pipe, .800 spindal, airfilter? how fast when im about 100 pounds. (im 14)

If you fouled your plug at 4 oz. that means either your carb settings are way rich or you just aren't giving the motor any throttle. You can't let the motor "put put" for very long. Its either your on the throttle, or the motor is turned off. Reset your carb to 1 1/2 low and 1 1/4 high. Break it in with those settings then lean out the high if needed.

well, i dont see how you can be fouling plugs so fast, i have owned an ORC for about 3 months now and i have changed the plug once, but never fouled any, i run 20:1 oil. so the only thing i can think of is either get a hotter spark plug or you carb mixture is way too rich.

i need help wit my he23hp engine. i just got it and i need to know how much oil to put in it becuz the sites say 5 ounces and my spark plug fouled out after 5 minutes of riding wit 5 and wit 4ounces it foulded out after 20 minutes and i need to know if i should use 3.2 ounces (40:1). thanx!
