You remove the washer from your spark plug... which will lower the spark plug closer to the piston... but dont do it because it could possibly hit... if you want a raised compression then remove your cylender gasket and replace it with a thin layer of liquid gasket.

Ya know... youre example of removing the base gasket has the exact same result of moving the bottom of the spark plug closer to the top of the piston in relation to its position.
Now, as this great debate goes on... do you really think those mods do anything enough to compression to actually make a difference?
do they really work? im trying to do every little thing to make it go faster, i bought all the possible parts excepet in the piston/cylinder dept., so does it werk?
Originally posted by andyman thanks, i did it and it gave me a little punch. i suggest that you go and do it to your CHEAP chineese scooters
go-ped = ferari
blade z = corrola
chineese scooters stink!!!!!!!!!!!!!
youre a big dummy
1, Who you callin a dummy?
2, You callin me out? I'll take any of my 'corrolas' against any of your 'feraris' any day. C'mon down big man.. we live in the same town. I run the TSOM rides every month.. lets see you show for those.
3 Who has CHEAP chinese scooters? No one here said anythying about cheap scooters.
4 What one of the fake mods did you do that worked so well giving you more punch? Bahahahaha.
I hope you clarify those statements, you turned a good thread into a question on your sanity. With you whole 18 posts, mebbe you should show yer elders a little respect.
Actually... the spark plug mod doesnt doesnt work to the best extent..
But I know for a fact my friend has built many motors along with me and I dont put liquid gaskets on mine but he does on mostly all his motors...and I could tell a bit of preformance change... but maybe its just me...
But like you said JB--you said both of those mods raise compression... well if something raises compression....wouldnt that mean it would raise motor preformance...

Sure it would... raising compression does improve performance.
But like I stated in the original post, not enuf for any performance improvement that you can notice...
Look at it like this... if your stock compression at 13:1 gives you 120psi, these modifications (lets just say BOTH for the emphasis)
will put you at 120.03 psi.
Ohhh Ahh.... now THATS horsepower, time for the 118 octane right?
