Superior BigBores...WTF......!!!

I recently bought a superior bb kit thinking that the quality would be good, but man oh man was I wrong!!! I installed the
bb kit without knowing there was a F---ing huge a-s scratch in the cylnder already, and attemped to start the motor, ran for about 1-2min, than it made a pop sound and died? brought it back home and took off the cylinder and saw about 3 huge scratches in the cylinder, so i thought hmm maybe the circlips fell out, no, they were still perfectectly in there, than i discoved a the huge hole-scratch type thing in the cylinder, it looks like a molding flaw or some wird **** and than i later realized that that scracth had caught the ring and f--cked the cylinder/pisten causing it to have no compresion!! WTF this isnt my fault? I've been in goped for years and have installed many zenoah topends with out any problems, this has never happened before? It wasnt a tuning problem or a install problem it was a ****ty defect cylinder that should of never been sent out in the first place?

Who do i talk to to get a refund, or atleast a working BB kit, because im pissed, i have to work for that $90 superior just pissed down the drain........................

Why did you install a bbk when you already had a huge @$$ scratch in your cylinder in the first place? And then put it all together and run the motor?

I hate to say it, but I think it was your fault,

As Eric said if you had already noticed the cylender scratched up, why did you continue with the installation, you should have contacted whoever you bought it from and talked with them about it.

Get some pictures, it will help out more!

I didnt notice it whene i was installing it, why the h-ll should i have to inspect a brand new cylinder for scratches?

Superior Products does have a 180 day warranty on any item. I'm sure if you return it to where you got it, and it is deemed warranty-able, you will receive a new one.

I'm sure Superior will have to look at the cylinder though, but if it is a genuine defect, you should receive a new one. So no worries.

You shouldnt... but just give them a call up and im sure they will be glad to refund or replace you!

Remeber, don't always point your finger at the Manufacture right away. It could have been the dealers fault or maybe even shipping. For future information, don't get discouraged, take a deep breath and resolve it in a civil manner, you might get better results.

Warranty

Check on the ADA Website and I think yo will find that they warranty all of thir products against manufacturing defects. That would be the best way to solve a problem.

i heard on gpn that some kid bought a bbk or somthing and when he got it the piston pin wasnt in the packing and scratched up the cylinder could this have happen to you?
