  • Juicebox with ROC pipe

ADA, will your juicebox mount upside down to allow for fitting the new ROC line of pipes. I know its not your pipe, but lots of people are interested in these new pipes. I want to know if the Juicebox I own can be mounted upside down and if it will still operate in the manner it was designed for, or will the gasoline pool in the box?

Juice box can't be mounted upside down, its just not possible for many reasons. From the Pic I saw, I think if you could grind some of the ROC pipe mounting it may work. I would have to see more pictures.

Shaving at the ROC RP pipe mount significantly weakens it's design. The vertical stance of the mount is part of it's strenth, grinding edgeing or shimming the surface will damage the chromoly.

Most people who own Juicebox's sell them for the ROC RP. As ROC pipes pull so hard, they eliminate the bottomend slump the juice box fills.

        Vertical stance?
Edgeing or Shimming will weaken chromoly?

Most people sell them for the Roc pipe? Most people have only been able to buy them for a week. Who are most people?

I have not seen the clearance problem between the ROC pipe and the juicebox but I would guees that an innovative mind could get the two to work together. Post pictures of the pipe bracket mounted and I might be able to help out.

it was already shown that the ADA S1 pulled the ROC pipes in a dyno test..either way i have never heard of people selling their juice box's for ROC pipes. are there any dino results for juice boxes?

            Why not just run both?
            Make a new mount.
Is there any execess metal on the Juice box you could file off?

              Sorry for the confusion;
Alot of new ROC owners whom used to run ADA "Juice Box's" have since stopped using them in conjunction with the ROC pipes.

Bill from ROC RP is most likely going to go ahead with production of a new bracket for use with the "Juice Box's" so users will encounter no problems.

Edgeing or Shimming will weaken chromoly?
Once again, my mistake i was editing some technical information on load strengths on 87a brackets for a downhill comp and got the information mixed up.

no the only dyno test done between the two showed that the ada s1 had more topend power than the roc snake. and the snake didnt lose by much. so considering that a bottomend pipe hung with a topend pipe is incredible. the roc snake has power all around though and the ada s1 only has topend power. so until u hit about 12000 rpms the s1 isnt doing that much. while the roc snake has been pulling hard through the rpm range.

You obviously havent ridden a series 1.

The first Powerband hits pretty soon, nothing like a series 2, but Its not that late.

whats the difference between a s1 powerband and a s2 powerband...my friend told my s2's are **** compared to an s1 in powerband standings...also....i know this kid who had an s1 pipe...when he TAPPED the powerband it would bust the front weel into a sick *** wheelie....so if the s1 does that to a ped...what does the s2 do? and can an s2 with a jucebox and a bigbore rc, hp carb, and ada rc airfilter bust a bigfoot into a wheelie...because the only way i currently can get into a wheelie with my bigfoot(no jucebox or s2 pipe) is by putting my foot on the fender and giving it throttle....but i wanna get that wheelie without having to lean back...lol....i love the speed of an s1 pipe....its ****ing CRAZY

so what if the powerbands hit hard? they just die away very fast and become powerless until the next powerband hits. the roc pipes pull hard all the way through the power range with one continous powerband. so the roc pipes dominate when the powerband hits.

The Roc may last long but it dosent hit nearly as hard.
What pipe produces the most power??????? The highest Rpm

the roc stinger produces the most power and rpms of any pipe its been dyno tested. and so what if it doesnt hit hard. hard hitting pipes can be a bad thing at times. my friend hit a powerband on his s1 while in a corner and it threw him off the ped and he got hurt. luckily not to bad. but the thing about the rocs is they hit almost as hard as other pipes but then they just pull and pull and the pull harder than any other pipe out there. and they go through the whole rpm range. the s1 just hits hard and dies. then it hits hard again this power doesnt do much. the rocs pull all the way through the rpm range and make power from bottom to top. the ada makes power in a few short selected zones. the rpm zones that the s1 has are pretty short thats why it hits so hard. but it doesnt really do much pulling till it its topend. and in a race u want power all around and the rocs can deliver that the ada pipes do make lots of power but not all around only in selected zones. so u guys need to face it, the 6+ year old s1 has finnaly met its match. so now ada needs to make a new pipe to compete with the rocs.

he isnt the greatest rider lol but i am just saying that some times when they hit that hard they can be dangerous and the thing is it hit in the corner and he was taking a pretty tight corner but it ended before he got out of the corner and he fell. this is because the power that he needed to get out of the corner want there and he fell. with the rocs when the power hits it stays. so the power sped him up but dissapeared so he fell. and with the roc that wouldnt have happened. but if ada could make a pipe that hits hard and kepps the power going then they would be able to compete with the rocs but as of now the roc series of pipes are untouchable on the track, dyno, or street.
