You can purchase an xport which adds lowend supposively.cause the new Tanaka pipe has an attachment for you to use any can (aftermarket or stock), it attaches to the end of the pipe to control noise levels.

No reason y it would perform well.....a stock can has sound deflectors inside and it dramaticly reduces power, which is y people buy pipes and that is to eliminate the sound deflectors and also as u know that pipes are designed for certain performance capabilities like top end, midrange, or bottom end, but adding the stock can almost with the pipe, you would get rid of the purpose of the pipe, although u may gain a small increase in speed and power, it would be cheaper and almost the same as to get a xport or something, but ultimately i suggest get a ADA s1 or s2 pipe and leave it like that....ADA makes killer pipes and if ur worried about the sound then stick with a stock can or aftermarket can, but i know there are pipe silencers, but im not sure if they are hollow or if they have deflectors......

Most silincers are packed with fiberglass.
Steel woll works as well. Silincers are easy to make, basically you have a small tube, with lots of holes in it insidea biger pipe, with your choice of packing inbetween the small pipe and the biger pipe.Modded out Super x ped, G2d xped,
Modded out Yamaha wave blaster, and a Stock Yamaha wave raider.
