  • Question about reeds

    Do reeds break often? cause i got reeds and i just was wondering if i should worry about replacing them or repairing them....so any feedback would help...

    Bigfoot with a Bergonzoni Boss engine, ADA S1 pipe, ADA Big Daddy deck, MRI chrome fender, Kenda front tire, .750 spindle, ADA 3rd Bearing, ADA Lockout, MSD Ignition, K&N airfilter, ADA gas cap, and soon to have ADA Hydrolic Brakes with Suspension, Billet brake lever, paint my frame, Propole, handlebars, and add a head to my Begonzoni.

    Not really. If the motor starts to run funky, hard to start and have poor torque always give the reeds a small check. Just make sure they are not cracked and what not. Do you know what the material the reeds are made out of? FiberGlass? Carbon Fiber?

      im not sure.....it might help if u could tell me if u knew....i just know that they are the stock reeds with the bergonzoni boss engine.....but thanx for ur reply
