performance wise they are both the same but reliability the HE is a ton better so i would have to say the HEto goped.... or not to goped.... that is the question -
They are Identical. Shure they are just casted up, machined and assembled in differnt places but they are still identical. Except the ada crank has a Rod bearing Lube hole, and dont they have copper coated Con Rods?Modded out Super x ped, G2d xped,
Modded out Yamaha wave blaster, and a Stock Yamaha wave raider.

I know tons of people who have the HE engines on their peds...and are EXTREMLY modified and they have little or no problems...COAST PEDComment

HE's are powerful as hell, same as zenoths, but are a little more reliable and i think have two piston rings, not sure though.....Bigfoot with a Bergonzoni Boss engine, ADA S1 pipe, ADA Big Daddy deck, MRI chrome fender, Kenda front tire, .750 spindle, ADA 3rd Bearing, ADA Lockout, MSD Ignition, K&N airfilter, ADA gas cap, and soon to have ADA Hydrolic Brakes with Suspension, Billet brake lever, paint my frame, Propole, handlebars, and add a head to my Begonzoni.Comment

I run a moded RC it runs fine and what motoxracer has to say it doesnt matter how many rings are on there they're for lubrication. I no a kid with a HE he floors it all the time and he weighs like 85 he goes pretty fast for an x can.But cant beat me!!!!!!!!!!Apperance

well i have an stock 2.5 RC engine and my brother has the HE23HP and my rc is pretty fast i like the power in mine but my brother owns me cuz he has mods on his ;(Comment

well me and my brother raced with out his mods and i beat him with my RC and he has the HE23HP either something waz wronge with his or in porformance the RC is better we both have 2.5 engine's but i barely beat him maybe about 4 feet ahead real close tho.Comment

They have the same performance. "oh but my Rc smoked my buddies He!" You can have differnt performaning engines.
Your carb might not be tuned right,
ring and/or piston could be shot,
blown gasket,
crappy gas,
tire size
ETC ETC. Theres a lot of things you have to take into consideration.Modded out Super x ped, G2d xped,
Modded out Yamaha wave blaster, and a Stock Yamaha wave raider.

well they both were brand new engines we bought them from davesmotors.com and both tuned exactly the same to top it off he did have an ADA air filter and i still beat him (barely)Comment

An air filter dosent do Jack squat but make it louder.
Differnt engines take differnt tunnings.
My rc runs best at 1 &1/8th of a turn out on the H and 1 on the L.
My buddies runs best at like 1 turn out on the H, and 1 & 1/4 on the L.Modded out Super x ped, G2d xped,
Modded out Yamaha wave blaster, and a Stock Yamaha wave raider.
