I have a goped superbigfoot with a g230rc engine walbro carb. It is extremely unreliable. when you go to high rpm you can't come down too fast or it will abruptly die and be hard to start again. Its powerband is almost gone to the point I thought the spindle was slipping but it was just had no power....

Alright guys whenever i want to start my goped, bump starting it is almost impossible and takes forever. The pull start never works on the engine unless its already warmed up. I was thinking about getting a new engine to start fresh but i felt like i could get some more life out of my current g23lh....

I've been trying to figure it out how to know the model and horse power of the motor of my goped sport but no success, I dont really know that much about this (as you can see)

Can porting make your engine end up with a shorter life span compared to the lifespan of a non ported motor? The cylinder wall is cut therfore making less contact with the piston. Since there is less contact wouldnt that make it less stable?
